Contacts
Last Updated: September 30, 2026
Contacts is the address book behind every order, where a contact is either a person or an organisation and the record covers the email, the phone, the currency and the addresses an order is made out to and shipped to. An organisation contact also lists the sites it trades from, each with its own address, its own status and the people who work there. Tags group contacts your own way, and the notes timeline on each one is where the conversation, the files and what was agreed are kept.
In this section
- The contacts list: Contacts keeps the people and organisations you trade with in one searchable table, filtered by type.
- Creating a contact: The create form takes a person or an organisation, with names, email, phone, currency and two addresses.
- The contact page, editing and deleting: A contact’s page gathers its details, addresses, media and related records, with Edit and Trash in the header.
- Contact locations: An organisation contact lists the sites it trades from, each with its own address, status and linked people.
- Tags on a contact: Tags are free-text chips on a contact, suggested from the ones your organisation already uses.
- Notes on a contact: Every contact and every contact location has a notes timeline for conversations, files and the record’s own history.
