Guided quests and help for every feature

Published: September 30, 2026

This release puts the answer to how Lucrii works, and the next step in a job, inside Lucrii itself, so you spend less time learning the software and more on the business. Hermes can walk you through a job one control at a time, and each feature has a help page that Hermes and your connected AI assistant answer from. Quoting, ordering and keeping contacts also take fewer detours.

Quests and the Quest Chart

Hermes can walk you through a job in Lucrii one step at a time. More than 30 quests cover contacts, orders, inventory, work boards, the inbox, Hermes, your team and the App Store.

  • Each step lights up the control it is about and moves on when you use it. A step you have already done is skipped.
  • Hermes offers a quest on the screen it belongs to, in a card under the Ask Hermes button. Choose Let’s go, Later or Don’t ask again. Hermes makes at most one offer every 10 minutes, and none on a screen narrower than a tablet.
  • A gold ! on the Ask Hermes button means this screen has a quest to start. A grey ? means a quest you paused can pick up here.
  • Pause a quest and resume it later from the bar at the bottom of the screen. Resume takes you back to the record you were on, even after a reload.
  • The Quest Chart maps every quest as a climb from Base camp, with roads to the quests each one needs first. Select a quest to start or resume it, and finishing one offers the next in the series.
  • In Settings, under General, administrators set Quests to Offered, On request or Off. A demo organisation follows its parent’s choice.

My Progress and achievements

Your level, achievements, the leaderboard and your Quest Chart share one page, My Progress, in the menu under your name at the foot of the sidebar.

  • A summary shows your level, streak, achievements collected and quests finished, with Leaderboard, Quest Chart and Achievements tabs below it.
  • The Achievements tab lists every achievement, collected or not, coloured by tier.
  • Every member of your organisation sees your level and achievements on your member page while achievements are on, and your Quest Chart while quests are not Off. A member with no progress yet shows at level one.
  • The Profile Visibility and Achievement Notifications switches are gone from your profile. Achievements you had hidden show on your member page, and celebrations always play.

Hermes

Hermes can look things up in Lucrii’s help pages and open a page of the app for you.

  • Ask how something works and Hermes answers from Lucrii’s help pages, or, where Lucrii does not do what you asked, says so and names the closest feature instead of guessing.
  • Hermes can open the page you ask for, such as your Quest Chart. Hermes never opens a page your role or plan does not allow.
  • Ask Hermes to show you how to do something and Hermes starts the matching quest.
  • A task Hermes creates goes to your team when you belong to only one. With several teams, Hermes asks which.
  • When Hermes is off and quests are on, the Ask Hermes button reads Search and opens page shortcuts and Browse quests.

Help that knows the product

Each of Lucrii’s 69 features has a help page. Hermes and your own AI assistant give the answer that page gives.

  • The help pages are on the docs site, grouped into nine areas from orders and inventory to work boards, Hermes and apps. Each page lists the steps by their on-screen labels.
  • Help answers only cover what you can use. A feature your role or plan does not include stays out of the answer.
  • Your connected AI assistant can look up the same help pages through Lucrii’s MCP connection. Each answer links to the help page and, where there is one, to the matching page in Lucrii. A help lookup doesn’t use credits.
  • Help pages explain what Hermes remembers and how credits and the spending limit work.

Orders and quotes

Creating a quote, sales order or purchase order takes fewer detours.

  • Create new customer and Create new vendor, at the top of their pickers, open a short contact form over the order. It starts with the name you typed and picks the saved contact for the order. A vendor made this way is always an organisation.
  • Use the arrow keys and Enter to choose from any customer, vendor, location or item search.
  • Switching from a new sales order to a new purchase order shows the purchase order columns and prices each line at the item’s cost price.
  • The Expected Date calendar on quotes and purchase orders starts at today in your organisation’s time zone, so you can only pick a day the order will accept.
  • The ship-from list picks up a stock location as soon as you add or rename it, with no reload.
  • Once a line has been fulfilled, cancelled, returned or refunded, its price, discount, tax and currency are fixed, and so are the order’s currency and Order Discount. To make a correction, add a new line or record a refund. Hover over a greyed-out Currency or Order Discount to see why it is fixed.
  • A line’s fulfilled, received, cancelled and returned counts each have their own line when you edit the order.

Documents

Purchase orders, invoices and quotes print cleaner, and your installed templates pick up these changes.

  • A purchase order is headed with your logo or business name, like your invoices and quotes. The vendor’s details are under Vendor, beside Deliver To and Bill To.
  • Addresses on every document print only the parts you have filled in.
  • Selecting anywhere in the Send Quote message box lets you start typing.

Contacts

Adding the contact you need takes one step from the picker you are in.

  • The company and primary contact pickers list Create new organisation and Create new contact first, as the order pickers do. Each opens the same short contact form over the page. Create saves the contact and picks it for you, and Cancel or Esc puts you back in the field with your search intact.
  • A contact made from a picker is saved the same way as one made on the contacts page, with your organisation’s default country and Default Currency.
  • The Company column in the contacts list shows the company a person works for, and sorting by Company follows the same names.
  • Pickers open on suggestions before you type.

Inventory

Average cost and stock figures are labelled for what they measure.

  • Average Cost Price is the average you have paid per unit for stock received on purchase orders, in your organisation’s currency. Tax is taken out, and line and order discounts are taken off. It reads None until the first receipt, and variants show it too.
  • The items list and the variants table label a quantity “available”, meaning what is left to sell after open sales orders. An item’s location table shows the quantity held at each location.
  • Export writes one row per item and one per variant, up to 10,000 rows. Its message gives the row count.

Tax

You can pick one tax as your default, and every item you create starts on it.

  • In Settings under Taxes, open a tax and select Set as default from More Actions. A Default badge marks it. Your first tax becomes the default, and while you have any taxes one of them is the default. Where you already have several, the oldest becomes the default.
  • A new item starts on the default tax, however it is created. You can still choose another tax or None, and existing items keep theirs.
  • Delete is greyed out on the default while you have other taxes. Hover over it to see why. Your last tax can always be deleted, for a business that stops collecting tax.

Work boards

  • A work board starts with New, In Progress, On Hold and Done columns, each matched to a task status.
  • Projects is out of the sidebar until it is ready.

Apps and connected assistants

  • The copy button beside the MCP address is always visible. It shows Copied once the address is on your clipboard, and says Could not copy to clipboard when your browser blocks it.
  • Help pages cover installing, managing and reviewing apps, the Stripe and Xero connectors, and connecting an AI assistant such as Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor over MCP.

Settings and your account

Setting up an organisation, signing in and managing members all take fewer wrong turns.

  • Creating an organisation keeps the country, currency and time zone you chose. A Melbourne business stays on Melbourne time.
  • The time zone list includes British Columbia and Alberta, which leave Pacific and Mountain Time in late 2026.
  • The owner of your main organisation can create another organisation from inside a sub-organisation or a demo.
  • The setup wizard gives clearer hints for the employee count and tax rate, and the tax switch reads “I collect tax”.
  • A sign-in link from an email, such as a notification, takes you back to the page it pointed at once you sign in.
  • Reassign Role starts on the role your selected members already share, and Reassign stays greyed out until the choice would change someone.
  • Selecting a row on the Members or team members list opens that person’s page in the same tab.
  • The Invite Members panel fits a laptop screen and scrolls, so its send button is always in reach.

Fixes

  • Scrolling down a list, such as your inbox, orders, items, locations or contacts, adds the next page below the rows you already have, where the first page could vanish. A reload or a shared link opens at the top of the list.
  • A long notes timeline keeps loading older notes as you scroll, on contacts, sites, tasks, orders, items and stock locations.
  • After a few turns, Hermes could say it had added a tag or a note when nothing had run.
  • A reloaded Hermes conversation lost the opening line of a reply that looked something up, and a streamed reply could run two sentences together.
  • The Duplicate and Download menu on an order, Set as default on a template or a location, and Update in an installed app’s Manage menu close once you choose them.
  • A site can be opened and changed only from the company it belongs to.
  • After you drag a card between columns on a work board, every column header counts the cards it shows.
  • Returning to an import that has since gone takes you to the upload step, where any import still under way is offered.
  • An empty list says whether it has nothing yet or your filters hide everything.
