Organisation Name renames the organisation. The description field beneath it asks what your business does. Logo takes an image used beside the organisation name. Default Currency sets the currency new orders and financial figures start in. Country informs the local rules and tax applied by default. Default Timezone decides how every date and time shows across the application. Customisation sets the business type to Goods Only, Goods and Services or Services Only. Every choice keeps stock, locations and purchase orders. Email Signature is the organisation default, used for people who have not set one of their own. Hermes AI is the consent switch for the AI features, worded as consent because the processing happens through external AI services. Turning Hermes off keeps the page shortcuts and Browse quests, under a button that reads Search instead of Ask Hermes, for as long as quests remain on. With both off, the button is gone too. Achievements switches levels, streaks and the achievements members collect on or off for everyone. Either switch turned off also takes that feature's quests out of the offers, and the Quest Chart shows them as question marks. Quests is a row of three cards at the foot of the page. Offered lets Hermes offer a quest a couple of seconds after a member opens a screen that has one. On request keeps quests on the Quest Chart until a member starts one, and Hermes never offers them. Off takes quests away for the whole organisation. A demo organisation follows whatever is chosen here on the organisation it was created from. Inside a demo, the cards show that organisation's choice and cannot be changed, and the line above them names the organisation to change it on. ## Before you start Administrator or above. The link is absent from the settings nav below that role, and the page shows a message saying you do not have permission to change organisation settings. Services Only renames Sales Order to Invoice everywhere. Goods Only and Goods and Services both keep the name Sales Order. The figures on the orders lists follow the same choice. The Hermes switch is the organisation's half of the decision only. On a cloud deployment the plan must include Hermes as well before the features appear. Switching achievements off resets the achievements panel for everyone and takes levels, achievements and the leaderboard off the My Progress page and the Experience and Achievements sections off member pages. The quests setting is the only quest control, and it applies to every member. Offered and On request both fill the Quest Chart for everyone, and Off empties it for everyone. ## How to use it 1. Open Settings, then General under Organisation. 2. Change one setting. Each section has its own button, such as Rename Organisation or Save Signature, and selecting a currency, country, timezone, business type or quests card saves straight away. 3. Wait for the save to report success.
