## What it does

Use Formats to make dates, times and numbers read the way you are used to. Formats is under You in Settings, after Profile and Notifications.

| Field | What it takes |
| --- | --- |
| Region | One of nine regions, or Organisation default |
| Clock | Region default, 12-hour or 24-hour |

Each region in the list shows a sample of a date, a time and a number.

- English (Australia) reads 16 Oct 2026, 3:12 pm · 1,234.56
- English (New Zealand) reads 16 Oct 2026, 3:12 pm · 1,234.56
- English (United Kingdom) reads 16 Oct 2026, 15:12 · 1,234.56
- English (United States) reads Oct 16, 2026, 3:12 PM · 1,234.56
- English (Canada) reads Oct 16, 2026, 3:12 p.m. · 1,234.56
- English (Ireland) reads 16 Oct 2026, 15:12 · 1,234.56
- English (Singapore) reads 16 Oct 2026, 3:12 pm · 1,234.56
- English (India) reads 16 Oct 2026, 3:12 pm · 1,234.56
- English (South Africa) reads 16 Oct 2026, 15:12 · 1 234,56

A region sets the order of the day and the month, how numbers group and the first day of the week in a date picker.

- Clock on Region default follows the organisation's clock where General sets one, and the region's own clock otherwise.
- Organisation default reads the region of the organisation you are in. It names that region beside it, as in Organisation default · English (Australia).
- Under Region and Clock, You will see shows how a date, a number and a price read for you.
- Your choice follows you into every organisation you belong to.

General, under Organisation, holds Region and Clock as the organisation's defaults. Anyone on Organisation default reads those.

- Quotes, invoices and purchase orders use the organisation's region whoever sends them.
- So do due reminder emails, invitation emails, and the password reset, email verification and security emails.
- CSV exports keep dates as YYYY-MM-DD.

## Before you start

- Every member can choose their own formats. Only an administrator or owner can change the organisation's, on General.
- Region starts on Organisation default, and Clock on Region default.
- The organisation's Region starts on the region of its country, or English (Australia) where Lucrii does not list that country's region.

## How to use it

1. Open Settings, then Formats under You.
2. Open Region and pick the region whose sample reads right to you. It saves as you pick it.
3. Pick a Clock, or keep Region default. It saves as you pick it too.
4. Wait for Settings saved successfully. Dates, times and numbers across Lucrii follow your choice at once.

To set the organisation's defaults, open General under Organisation and pick Region and Clock there.

## Troubleshooting

A price doesn't follow your region. Money keeps each currency's own format, whichever region you choose. In English (South Africa) a number reads 1 234,56, and a price in Australian dollars still reads $1,234.56.

The page says your formats could not be loaded, and Region and Clock are greyed out. Lucrii could not read your choice. Reload the page to change them.
