## What it does

Bulk Activity lists imports, exports and changes made to many records at once, newest first. Each one is a job. A job you start shows in the list as soon as it starts, including one you start in another tab or through Hermes. The list leaves out a job cancelled before it ran, such as a change nobody confirmed.

| Column | What it shows |
| --- | --- |
| What | The action and how many records it covers, or an import and its file |
| Result | How many records changed, were skipped or failed |
| Status | Done, Running, Waiting for You, Waiting for Confirmation, Failed or Cancelled, with an icon and a colour |
| Started By | Who started the job, with via Hermes or via MCP where it came from there |
| Started | When it started |

A running job shows a bar in Result. Once an export finishes, Result offers Download CSV. An import's Result gives the rows it created, updated and skipped, and the rows with errors. A failed job's Result says why it stopped.

The search box finds a job by the name or email of the person who started it, or by an import's file name. It also finds a change by a record it included, such as #SO1008 or 1008. Filter by Kind, Status, Area, Started By and Started. Kind is Import, Export or Bulk Change. The built-in views are All, Running, Waiting for Confirmation and Failed. All shows every job, and the other three show the jobs with that status. The view list at the left of the toolbar reads Custom once you filter, search or change the columns. On this list, a saved view keeps the filters, search and columns it was saved with. [Work boards and tasks](/docs/boards/overview.md) covers the search box and saved views.

On a record's page, More Actions > View Bulk Activity lists the changes that included that record. A line above the list links to the record. A contact location's list has no link. Show All Jobs returns to every job. The list for one record leaves your last search and filters on Bulk Activity as they were.

Select a job to open its page. A change you checked and have not confirmed reads Waiting for You. Selecting it opens the list it came from with the same records ticked and the same action open. An import waiting for you opens its import page again. Someone else's job reads Waiting for Confirmation.

A job's page shows its status beside the title. The line below says who started the job, through what and when, in your own timezone. It ends on how long the job took. A running job says how long it has run so far. A job that stopped part way says how long it ran. A job that stopped before it ran leaves the time out. A job waiting for confirmation says Not confirmed yet.

The result comes first, in the words the finish message uses, such as 10 sales orders paid in full, 2 skipped. A Watch or Unwatch job someone else started reads their watch list, as in 3 quotes added to their watch list. A bar below it splits the records by outcome and gives the count of each. A change's bar has Changed, Skipped and Failed, and an import's has Created, Updated, Skipped and Errors. While a change runs, Waiting counts the records it has still to reach. Once it has ended with records left, Not Reached counts those it never got to. An import that stopped part way also counts Not Reached rows. A change waiting for confirmation has Ready and Skipped, and Failed when its check failed any. An export has no bar. A job that stopped before it reached any record has no bar.

Below the result are the settings the job ran with, the totals its check found and which records it covered. An export's settings are Shape, Columns and Sort. An import gives its File, Matched By and Rows in File. Matched By says how the import matched rows to records. When a filter chose the job's records, the page shows those filters. A job that failed, or that Lucrii cancelled because nobody confirmed it, says why under its result. A running job keeps going if you leave the page. While it runs, Cancel Job in the page header asks first. Anything the job has already changed stays changed.

A change's page lists its records under All, Changed, Skipped and Failed, each with its count. Once a job has ended with records it never got to, Not Reached lists them. A change waiting for confirmation lists All and the outcomes its bar shows. A change that stopped before it reached any record lists none. Search finds a record by its name, such as an order number, or by the column beside it, such as a customer's name. Each record shows its outcome and, under Details, the reason Lucrii gave. The records stay in the order the job worked on them. Select a record to open it. A record deleted since the job ran shows struck through and does not open. A contact location opens on its page under the contact, and an invitation opens the Invitations tab on Members.

The button beside the tabs ticks the records of the tab you are on, on the list they belong to. Its label gives the count and the tab, such as Select 2 Skipped Sales Orders. It shows only once the job has ended, and only while the tab has records. Records listed inside another page, such as a contact's locations, have no button. Imports and exports have none. On a small screen, the tabs and the button are in a row above the search.

A job that failed or was cancelled part way has a second button under its result. It ticks the records the job never got to, as Select 220 Contacts Not Reached does on a contacts job. A change that stopped before it reached any record offers the same button. A button in the page header opens the list the records belong to, such as Open in Sales Orders. A contact location job has Open Contact.

A change waiting for you says what it will do and when Lucrii cancels it. Review and Confirm opens its action again on its list, or an import on its import page. Only the person who started the job sees that button. Cancel Job stops the job before anything changes, and an administrator or owner sees it too.

An import's page has a What Changed table with Created, Updated, Skipped, Cleared and Errors, and Not Reached for an import that stopped part way. It counts the rows created, updated and skipped, the values cleared in each column and the rows with errors, then gives Rows in File. Not Reached counts the rows the import never got to. An import that stopped before it reached any row has no table. Download Errors gets the rows with errors and why each one failed.

An export's page shows its file with its number of rows and the day Lucrii deletes it, on your organisation's calendar. Download CSV gets the file.

A record's history shows Changed by a job beside each change a job made. Select it to open that job.

## Before you start

Everyone sees the jobs they started. A team leader also sees every job on quotes, sales orders, purchase orders, contacts, items, locations, tasks and boards, imports and exports of them included. Administrators and owners see every job in the organisation.

Only the person who started a job, or an administrator or owner, can cancel it. Cancelling an import needs an administrator or owner.

Lucrii deletes a finished job, its records and its file 30 days after it finishes.

## How to use it

1. Open Settings, then Bulk Activity under Organisation.
2. Search, or add a filter, to find a job.
3. Select a job to open it.
4. Choose a tab, such as All, Ready, Changed, Skipped, Failed or Not Reached, to show its records.
5. Choose the button beside the tabs, such as Select 2 Skipped Sales Orders, to tick those records on their list.
6. Select Download CSV or Download Errors for the job's file.
7. Select Cancel Job to stop a job that has not finished. While the job runs, select Cancel Job again to confirm, or Keep Running to leave it.

## Troubleshooting

A job reads Waiting for You. It checked its records and needs you to confirm it. Select it to open its action again on its list. Lucrii cancels it if nobody confirms it within 24 hours. Confirm a job Hermes or an MCP client started in that chat. Lucrii cancels it if nobody confirms it within one hour. Its page then says why it was cancelled.

A failed job says "The job stopped." Lucrii starts a stopped export or bulk action again by itself, up to twice, before it fails it. The rest of the message says what to do.

A record you expected is not under Changed. Look under Skipped or Failed. The reason under Details is the one the record's own page would give.
