## What it does

The table at the top of the order form prices the order row by row. Each row is an item, or one of its variants, with a quantity, a unit, a price, a tax and a per-line discount. Lucrii calculates the line total from those. A purchase order shows the cost price instead of the unit price, with the item's sell price and its available, committed and on-order stock beside it, and no per-line discount.

An empty row waits at the bottom of the table. Typing into it makes it a real line and a fresh empty row appears underneath.

## Before you start

Once units on a line have been fulfilled, cancelled, returned or refunded, that line is locked - you cannot remove or reduce it, and its price, discount, tax and currency are fixed too. Add a new line instead.

## How to use it

1. In the line items table, select the Product cell on the empty row and search for an item. The search reads items and, once you have typed two characters, variants as well.
2. Pick one. The price is filled from the item, taking the cost price on a purchase order and the sell price elsewhere. Type over a cost price of zero when the item was saved without one.
3. Set the quantity, and change the price, tax or discount where this order differs from the item's own figures.
4. Drag a row by its handle to reorder it, or use the delete cell at the end of the row to remove it.

Items that are not active stay out of the search results. The empty row at the bottom cannot be dragged, and a row dragged past it comes to rest above it. An order with no lines reads "No items yet" on the order page, with a prompt to edit it and add some.
