You fulfil a sales order out to the customer and receive a purchase order in from the vendor, and the wording on the card changes with the direction. The order's own lines decide which surface you get. An order with at least one stock line gets the full card, where you enter a quantity per line and choose the location the units leave from or arrive at. An order with no stock line gets one action beside the fulfilment badge. A sales order reads Mark as fulfilled there and a purchase order Mark as received, and the undo beside each reads Mark as unfulfilled or Mark as unreceived. Each recorded fulfilment is a card of its own under the unfulfilled one, with a Reverse action on it. ## Before you start A quote has nothing to fulfil and a draft purchase order has nothing to receive, so both are left without the card and its actions. Send the purchase order first, and the receiving card appears. A line that ships stock needs a location whenever your organisation has any locations to choose from, and the submit button waits for one. A fulfilment with no location moves no stock on or off the shelf. A fulfilment that covers units the customer has since returned cannot be reversed - the Reverse action turns off and says so. A cancelled order does not allow a fulfilment or a reversal. ## How to use it 1. On an order with stock lines, select Fulfil items, or Receive items on a purchase order. 2. Enter how many units of each line are moving. 3. Check the location under Fulfil from, or Receive at on a purchase order. It is pre-filled from the order's own location, or from your organisation's default. 4. Select Fulfil items, or Receive items, again to record the movement. On an order with no stock lines, select Mark as fulfilled, or Mark as received on a purchase order, beside the fulfilment badge. Every line with units left to move is covered in one go.
