Ticked rows bring up a bar at the top of the list. [Work boards and tasks](/docs/boards/overview.md) covers ticking rows and selecting every match. On the Items list, the bar offers Edit Fields, Tags and Change Price. Adjust Stock and Delete are under More Actions (⋯). On the Locations list, the bar offers Archive, Restore and Delete. Each action follows the rules of the same change on the item's page. Before anything changes, the window shows how many items will change and why Lucrii skips the rest. It checks as soon as the action's settings are filled in, and again each time you change them. Lucrii groups the skipped items by reason. The Show button beside a reason lists up to 10 of them, each linked to its page. A link such as "and 12 more" opens the rest in Bulk Activity. These links open in a new tab. A button such as Select 3 Skipped Items ticks the items with that reason. Lucrii leaves the button out when every item you selected has that reason. When you select one item and Lucrii skips it, the window gives only the reason. When the job finishes, a message says how many items changed and how many Lucrii skipped. View Job opens the job in Bulk Activity. Select Skipped ticks the skipped items again, and Select Failed ticks any that failed. A message with skips or failures does not close by itself. You close it. Edit Fields sets the same value on every ticked item. Tick each field you want, as in Product Category. Then choose Set or Clear under the field's name, where the field offers both. The list says what each one means. Draft is work in progress, and you can't add it to orders. Active is available for purchase and sale. Unlisted is hidden from new orders, and orders that already include it don't change | | Track Inventory for This Item | On or Off | | This Is a Physical Product, This Is a Subscription | On or Off | | Cost Price Includes Tax, Price Includes Tax | On or Off | | Shipping Weight | A number of zero or more, with up to three decimal places, or Clear | | Shipping Weight Unit | g, kg, lb or oz, or Clear | | Shipping Origin Country, Shipping Harmonized System (HS) Code | Text, or Clear | Tags changes the tags on the ticked items. Choose Add, Remove or Replace under How to Change. It starts on Add. The window's title and button follow your choice at once. Change Price raises, lowers or sets one price on every ticked item. It then takes a quantity for each ticked item, or for each variant of an item with variants. ## Before you start Any member can run these actions, as they can on one item. Edit Fields changes an item only when it can take every field you set. Otherwise Lucrii skips it with the reason its page would give, such as "Choose a company as the vendor." Changing Status also changes the status of each item's variants. The check warns you first. Adjust Stock takes up to 100 ticked items at a time, and skips any that do not track inventory. It does not take a selection of every matching item. Tick the items instead. Archive and Delete skip a location that holds stock. Move its stock first. Deleting more than 25 items or locations asks you to type the number first. You can have three jobs in progress at once, counting bulk actions and exports together. [Quotes, sales orders and purchase orders](/docs/orders/overview.md) says how the limit works. ## How to use it 1. Open the Items list. 2. Tick the items you want, or filter the list from the search box and select every matching item. 3. Select an action in the bar, or More Actions (⋯) for Adjust Stock and Delete. 4. Fill in the action's settings. The window checks the items as you go. 5. Read how many items will change and why Lucrii skips the rest. Then select the button that counts them. 6. When the message appears, select View Job to open the job in Bulk Activity, or Select Skipped to tick the skipped items. ## Troubleshooting Lucrii skipped an item you expected to change. Open the job in Bulk Activity to read the reason beside each skipped item. Fix the item on its page, then tick it and run the action again. Adjust Stock says "Adjust Stock does not take every matching item. Select the items one by one instead." The selection was every matching item. Tick the items yourself, up to 100 of them. An item reads "This item already has these values." Lucrii skips it. Adjust Stock says "The selected items could not be loaded." Lucrii could not read the ticked items' stock. Select Try Again to read them again. A stock adjustment reports "This stock adjustment may have been applied before the job stopped. Check the item's stock before adjusting it again." The job stopped partway through that item. Lucrii never adjusts it a second time by itself.
