## What it does

Xero is a first-party connector published by Lucrii, free to install. It binds one Xero organisation to your Lucrii organisation and keeps both sides of a document in step.

Going out, a sales order becomes a Xero invoice, a purchase order becomes a Xero purchase order against the vendor, and a quote becomes a Xero quote. Each push happens when Lucrii creates that document, measured against what was last sent. An unchanged order is left alone. A payment you record in Lucrii is reflected against the matching Xero document, and a refund is written as a credit note with its allocation.

Coming back, a payment entered in Xero is recorded on the Lucrii order. Xero sends an automatic update when that happens, and an hourly pass picks up anything that update missed.

The settings card has the connection, six sync switches, the accounts and taxes Lucrii posts through, a payment-link switch, a branding theme and an activity log.

## Before you start

Updates to Xero wait until you choose an organisation and set all three account codes. Until then, the card reads Setup incomplete.

Changing the Xero organisation clears the account codes, both tax mappings and the branding theme, since each belongs to the organisation you chose it in.

Payment links on invoices add a link to the Xero online invoice inside the PDF. It needs a payment service connected inside your Xero organisation first, or it does nothing.

Disconnecting Xero stops future updates. Records already in Xero stay as they are.

## How to use it

1. Install Xero from the App Store and open the installation page.
2. Select Connect with Xero and authorise the connection.
3. Choose the Xero organisation to sync with.
4. Map the accounts. Sales, purchases and payments each need a code from your chart of accounts before syncing starts.
5. Map each Lucrii tax to a Xero tax rate, once for sales and again for purchases. A tax you leave unmapped posts on the account default.
6. Select Save and start syncing.
7. Back in settings, turn the six switches on or off. They are Sales orders, Purchase orders, Quotes, Push sales payments, Pull purchase payments and Refunds. Select Save settings.

The activity log shows recent sync events, filtered by entity type and outcome, twenty to a page. It starts empty and fills as documents update. Refresh from Xero re-pulls the chart of accounts, tax rates and branding themes.

## Troubleshooting

If Lucrii cannot check the accounts or tax rates from Xero, the mapping tables do not show at all. An empty tax mapping would post every line on the account default, so they are hidden until then.

A refresh from Xero can come back incomplete. When that happens, Lucrii says so rather than leaving you with an old list that looks current.
