Creating one takes a title, an optional description and the team it belongs to. The team a board belongs to decides who may change it later. An org-wide board is open to team leaders and above. A team-owned board is open to them and to that team's manager. Marking a team-owned board as the team's default places new tasks owned by that team on it without anyone dragging them there. A board starts with New, In Progress, On Hold and Done columns. A card dropped on Done is finished, and the columns can be renamed, reordered or removed like any other. ## Before you start Create Board appears for a team leader and above, and for anyone who manages at least one team. If you manage a team but do not hold the team-leader role, you must choose a team - the org-wide option is not offered to you. ## How to use it 1. Open Work Boards and select Create Board. 2. Give the board a title. 3. Write a description where the board's purpose needs explaining. 4. Choose Org-wide board, or pick the team that owns it. 5. Tick the default-board box if new tasks for that team belong here. 6. Select Create. The default-board tick only shows once you have chosen a team, and clearing the team clears the tick with it.
